Tonight on the big show, Joe welcomes back his good friend Sam Higgins as co-host.  They banter about judging people.  Then Joe interviews his friend Kate about being a native Austinite and her conversion journey.  It’s more Catholic fun than a Sunday in Ordinary Time!

Then Joe interviews Catholic artist Caitlin McCollom about the spiritual meaning behind her paintings. It’s more fun than painting the Sistine Chapel while lying on your back!  Find out more about Caitlin and her art at http://cgmccollom.com

Catholic and Green

This time on the big show, Joe laughs it up with his good friend Jane.  They banter about what they gave up for Lent, and Austin getting an auxiliary Bishop.  Then Joe’s good friend Jennifer Lasseter joins them to discuss being a Catholic and an environmental engineer.  It’s more fun than a papal airplane interview!

Don’t Worry, Be Happy!

Tonight on the big show, Joe laughs it up with his bestie, Sam Higgins.  They banter about the Pope falling down in Mexico and their Lenten experiences.  Then Liz Heuertz stops by to talk about her job as a licensed professional counselor.  Joe’s People: It’s at the intersection of Catholic and Happy!

Seed of a New World

Joe welcomes back his good friend Katie Martin as co-host.  They banter about looking for a religious order where you can sleep in late and also the papal document “The Way of Beauty”.  Then, they’re joined by friends Mark Leatherman and Alex Quintana to talk about their new film, “Seed of a New World”, all about pilgrimages to Germany for the 100th Anniversary of the Schoenstatt Movement.  It’s more Catholic fun than a Papal visit to Philly!

BTW, here’s the link to their Kickstarter campaign to produce the film.  Go take a look at the trailer and help them do God’s work.

Sister Act: Three

Franciscan Sisters croppedThis week on the big show, Joe interviews three Franciscan sisters of Christian Charity: Sister Julie Ann Sheahan, Sister Mary Ann Spanjers, and Sister Carmen Marie Diaz.  They talk about how they discerned their call to the religious life and what Franciscan spirituality is all about.  It’s a sister act without Whoopi Goldberg!

Dia de Los Muertos? Evitar El Diablo!

Lalique Bunny

Tonight on the big show, Joe welcomes back his co-host, Joe Morse.  They banter about the Synod on the Family, and Joe Morse’s wedding anniversary.  Then we talk with Joe’s friend Lalique Martinez about Dia de Los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.  She also shares tips from her godfather, a trained exorcist, on how to deal with demons.  It’s more Catholic fun than a Papal Address to the Pontifical Academy!

Then, Deacon Guadalupe returns to talk about the Corpus Christi procession to the Texas State Capitol Rotunda.  He also opens up about his time fighting the drug trade on the Mexican border, Satanic cults, as well as his time working with an exorcist.  It’s all about angels and demons this week!

The Radio Man. He’s Full of…uh, Truth!

Pat Ryan

My buddy Pat Ryan from Fullness of Truth Ministries stops by our studio to talk about his days in radio, his search for the Truth, return to the church, and working for Fullness of Truth Ministries. Plus, he’s a fellow Simpsons fan, so there’s that.  My friend James Kuhr co-hosts, so it required a few months of editing.
