My friends are a blessing from God. They are like precious jewels to me. This is where you can find out all about them. Join me as I get to ask them the questions I’ve always meant to, but was too self-involved to do so. We’re all God’s People.
Joe Geisler (your host)
Joe is a Catholic engineer, entrepreneur, world-traveler, swing dancer, and man-about-town. A raconteur, if you will. He’s from a big fat German (or Austrian) Catholic family. He’s spent a bit too much time reading Latin and Greek writers, not enough reading C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton. Some have called him a visionary. Some, not so much.
Sam Higgins (2nd banana)
Sam is a shady angry loner. He’s currently studying transportation engineering at UT Austin and is sometimes distracted by shiny bits of glass. He’s read extensively in theology and philosophy, including C.S. Lewis, and did a year stint at NET Ministries. He’s fortunate enough to be one of Joe’s close friends.
Dolores Diaz
Dolores is a freelance editor, writer, and avid reader. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature with minors in Theology and Journalism from the University of Notre Dame. She loves riding her Harley around the city, and on any given weekend you can catch up with her playing drums in the coolest bars on the east side or downtown Austin.
Arlen Nydam
Arlen works as a freelance copy editor, writer, photographer, and teacher. He earned a Ph.D. in English at UT Austin, and has lived in Austin since 2000.
