Joan Picture

We talked with my friend Joan Pearsall about her life growing up in England in the 20s and 30s, the outbreak of WWII and the Luftwaffe’s Blitz on London.  She’s 90 (and a half) years old, immigrant from the UK, convert to Catholicism from Anglicanism.  She’ll also grace us with a poetry reading.  My friend Theresa Madere, 1940s buff, helps with the interview.
